Conference venue
All sessions will take place in the Hotel System, al. 29 Listopada 189.
All the meals (except of conference banquet) will be served at the Hotel system.
In the case of any special requirements (e.g. vegetarian diet) please contact organizing committee by the end of November.
For participants coming by car hotel offeres parking places in parking lot (10 PLN/day) or in garrage (25 PLN/day).

Transportation
Kraków can be easily reached by almost all means of transport. The Balice airport (KRK) provides good flight connections with many European cities, New York and Chicago. The second nearest airport is Katowice-Pyrzowice (KTW). Also the Warsaw airport (WAW) is a good option.
Polish railways operate a very convenient IC connection with Warsaw every hour from 6 am to 8 pm, the trip lasts approximately 2h45. Kraków has also direct train connections with Berlin, Bucarest, Budapest, Frankfurt am Main, Moscow and Vienna.
The easiest way to reach the Hotel System Conference Centre is a taxi. The approximate cost is PLN 50-80 from the airport and PLN 15-25 from the railway station. The hotel can be also reached by public busses. From the airport take the bus 208 to Nowy Kleparz bus terminal (marked in blue on the map). Take bus 137, 257 or 277 and get off at the "Kuźnicy Kołłątajowskiej" bus stop. Walk up the street to the hotel (~100 m, marked in red on the map).
Single ticket ("bilet") costs PLN 2.50 (+ 2.50 for any large piece of luggage). They can be purchased at any newspaper stand or from the bus driver (with small extra charge). Travelling from the airport with line 208 requires two tickets (PLN 2.50 each, one normal and one zone ticket "bilet strefowy").

Weather
January is usually the coldest month in Kraków. You should expect rather low temperatures (-5 ¸ -15°C, 32 ¸ 5°F) and plenty of snow. Don't forget heavy coat or anorak, sweater, gloves and a hat.
The conference banquet will take place in the salt mine, 135 m below the ground level. The average temperature in the salt mine is ~15°C (~59°F).
